Get in touch with Curtis

Drafting Services Manager

Curtis Bodie

Curtis Bodie is the Manager, Drafting Services with Ener-Controls.

As we switch to a software-driven world, Curtis plays a pivotal role in the future of Ener-Controls. He has developed and owns/operates “Blinc Software”, which features the SchematicPro tool.

Schematics are an increasingly important aspect of aligning measurement, field operations and production accounting and help ensure accuracy and completeness of volumetric data as reporting to Petrinex. Schematics also play a pivotal role in environmental compliance, including methane reporting accuracy and TIER/OBPS reporting and verification.

Blinc software makes schematics simple. It connects to the Petrinex system and auto-draws, at the click of a button, all measurement schematics for any facility operated by any AB/SK company, requiring only minor edits/drafting to finalize.

The software enables Ener-Controls clients to move away from manual drafting, and towards a software solution that:

  • Eliminates 90% of the manual work involved with the creation and upkeep of schematics.
  • Requires less “busy-work”/manual creation and allows for the drafting process to focus on “finalizing look and accuracy” rather than “creation of drawings from scratch”.
  • Tracks updates and changes, making excel tracking sheets/logs redundant.
  • Includes modules to automate your field operations, including modules specific to fuel/flare/vent data as well as oil/gas analysis.

Value proposition: Simple. Ener-Controls clients can unlock huge time-savings and simplicity at an extremely reasonable monthly fee, to automate the drafting, and upkeep of schematics.

In turn, this helps EC EPAP clients ensure compliance with the EPAP declaration requirement specific to schematics.
