Our Approach To
Fee Structure
We believe in keeping compliance simple. Not overcomplicating it – to our benefit and to the producer’s detriment. In short, to treat our clients the way we’d want to be treated.
Commitment to Auditor objectivity and independence:
We understand the importance of auditor/verifier impartiality, especially in conducting emissions-related verifications or validation projects. If we are engaged as third-party verifiers or auditors, we ensure objectivity and independence as follows.
- Our Lead Auditors and Management carry professional responsibilities to maintain independence from the work being audited/verified.
- For example, if we are verifying your GHG emissions, we commit to not assisting with calculation of emissions in any form. If we are conducting your EPAP audit, we commit to not doing the measurement or PA work as well. Both of these are conflicts of interest.
- Our audit/verification templates are structured test and verify, but never to consult. We may offer improvement/remediation opportunities, but will refrain from direct involvement in the process itself. This is how value-add auditing and verification should be.
Should a conflict of interest ever arise, our Management will assess the conflict, review the situation, discuss with you (our client), immediately cease involvement from the activity creating the conflict and likely recommend a trusted partner for the competing service.
Fee Structure:
- Rates from $95 to $125 per hour, depending on the task.
- EPAP, Emissions work is template-based, meaning lower effort for the job, and cost savings for you.
- A zero-tolerance policy for “add-ons”, “scope creep”, and other bells/whistles designed to make consultants money, not producers.
- Noncompliance issued by a Regulator directly related to work we did? Simple. We fix, and we don’t charge. For any of the work done.
